How does Eric speaking passionately on injustices contradict or relate to what I said about attacking non~Indians? For I to contradict myself, would be to say something & later say the opposite, which would be I didn't think you thought Eric wasn't attacking non~Indians.
No disrespect intended Rich *S*

: Rich, I too hope for some kind of discourse. I'd
like to clear a few things: 1st, I never accused you
of interjecting your own feelings of racism into the
article, what I got from your commentary was what to
me sounded as if you felt Eric was attacking
non~Indians. What made it seem that way was what you
wrote here:
: "An anger at the people who made the film (Which I
didn't see anger, but frustration towards the films
producers, that I can agree on)"
: "and some of those cast in it" --- here is where I
felt that you were implying that Eric was attacking
non~Indians, for nowhere in the article did he bash
any of the actors. I read & re~read, but found
nothing to that affect. When Eric was asked: "How did
you get on with the rest of the cast?" he replied "I
got along with everybody". So, I felt that you were
adding things not in the article which were
contradicting & making Eric out to be Angry at
everyone in the movie, non~Indians who make movies on
Indians.
: It was never my intention to make it seem you had
"race" in mind, but that Eric was attacking
non~Indians in his comments on European film~makers,
your replies of what would it matter if the movie was
made by Europeans or Indians, but it does. The 2
movies Dances... & LOTM you pointed out are 2 movies
far & few in between to represent the vast & varied
culture of all Indian nations.
: 2nd when Eric spoke of the Six Nations, it
