No matter what the personalities were behind the scenes, nor what the dynamics between them were.....they all worked together to turn out an excellent film. One which will become a classic if it has not already done so. That makes them ALL professionals and worthy of my respect. And worthy of my gratitude for producing a movie which I shall enjoy over and over again and which brings some new insights into a time period of which I am greatly interested. Whatever else, they did accomplish that admirably!! Right??

Perhaps, I am influenced in my judgments by those whom I've talked with at length who WERE involved in the filming of LOTM. We have carefully kept such material off our site, in deference to those involved, however, it is clear, to US, what that interview is all about. I was just trying to throw some thoughts out there for all of you to ponder regarding all of this. The power of the written word is strong. We are well aware! Reading the interview could cause one to take every word as the gospel. Our intention was to be sure everyone reading it was aware that there was indeed, another side.

: : For me to continue this discussion would likely cause me to say things of a hurtful nature ... which is NOT the purpose of our Web Site. This here, is a tribute to a great film and all those who took part, flawed as it & they may be in some regards. Hey, aren't we all! On that note, I hope that YOU enjoy the site, and continue to visit!
