Hi, Karen! Glad you decided to post. I know it may seem that some of our "conversations" here on the board have nothing to do with the movie, but that's not wholly true. They are just things that have evolved over a period of time between folks who have posted here quite awhile, but they are always linked by this film and our love of it. We have "invented" a Mythical Mohicanland, and peopled it with all sorts of strange characters, just for our own amusement. It's a lot of fun for many of us, but obviously not everyone's cup of tea.

However, I think you'll find that any time you want to start a thread about the film, we will be more than happy to jump right in for a good discussion. Tell us your favorite scene, ask about bloopers, discuss mis-heard lines, talk about relationships & motivations of characters, and we'll all have something to say, I'm sure. Please don't hold back from posting because we are sending out smoke signals from Mohicanland on a particular day. We can all put aside our various personas for serious topics, anytime! So come on in...the posting's fine!

In the meantime, you can find lots of information on Eric Schweig's interview, and how it came about linked from the main page on this site. And Rich has recently posted that Eric is concentrating on his carving right now, rather than making movies. I think that post was archived, and can be found in Part 2.
