Hey just wanted to mention a pretty good show I caught the other night on the History Channel. It was called Hillbilly: The real story. It gave the history of Appalachian people and how the term "Redneck" came to be. Also gave some pretty interesting facts about their involvement in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

I wonder if they're gonna repeat that. I'll have to look. I just watched a show on that channel about Indians and the Civil War. That was pretty interesting. Did you see that one?

Sure did!! Was pretty interesting! There's actually a thread about it toward the bottom of the home page under "Any other military encounters". Can't miss it.

A great show, and a great story about the origin of the term "redneck." The History Channel has shown it at least twice so far! I'm sure it will be on several more times.
