Since that poll was from a while back, let's give this another whirl with some of our newer members. Well, I will vote. I have to say it would be the "Kiss". Very romantic part and the music really helped to capture the moment

Hmmm . . . I'm ashamed to say I don't know the soundtrack well enough to vote. I never can put song titles with the actual tunes. If "The Kiss" is the same as "The Gael," then that's my favorite, I guess.

I voted for the main title as, like Red, I do not know the music that goes with each scene. Been ages since I watched the movie in its entirety anyway. I am familiar with various bits of music but no idea where they fit in.

Really like all the music played in LOTM but Elk Hunt is my fav I think.

Elk Hunt When they are hunting
Bridge at Lacrosse When they cross that long bridge
Garden Scene The tea scene with Cora, BBQ, and Alice
Ambush When Cora, BBQ, and Alice are attacked
The Glade The burial grounds
Fort Battle When they are in the fort and right before hand
The Courier When Hawkeye helps the courier escape
The Kiss If you don't know this one I might have to make you watch the movie over
Stockade When Hawkeye is in jail
Massacre Massacre scene
Ascent/Pursuit When they are running
Promontory Alice and Uncas death area
Top of the World Closing scene

I voted Promontory. In the 1st poll I voted the kiss but have since changed my mind.
