Just wondering if anyone else caught the nikefootball.com commercial featuring the LOTM song "Promontory" while pro football players are battling it out? It was on here during the Eagles vs. Packers game. I guess the point is that, like Uncas, you go for it until you win or no longer can.
(Too bad our Uncas didn't win!)

I just saw that ad about 30 min. ago. I knew that music sounded familiar, when all of a sudden it clicked, "The Deer Hunt!" Definitely the best part of the whole ad.
PS -- Maybe your Uncas didn't win, but my Magua sure did!!  |

But... I'm now officially confused (now you can all be certain, instead of merely suspecting!  ) Which is it? The Gael or The Deer Hunt? Or is it an edited combination of both? |

It's The Gael--from whats called Promontory (on the first c.d.). . .when Uncas is climbing the hill after Alice. It even starts out with the slow drums that are heard in the movie when Sachem is done speaking and everything in the Huron camp starts to break up. It's a great commercial, actually. |
