I didn't know there was a pukey-face icon. That's kinda gross!
About the cartoons, I have to agree with Obi on Jetsons, though I loved the Smurfs when I was little. I even had the Colorforms set. Remember those, anybody? They'd probably be outlawed these days because of all those teeny-tiny lick-and-stick designs that were undoubtedly a choking hazard. But they were sure fun when I was 6! |

Okay, I have to agree on the icon, that is gross.

"Lil pukey" got my point across, didn't it? Actually, I "borrowed" it from another forum, but ya'll knew it wasn't here, right? ...and I just noticed its color is "smurf blue" |

Hey Red isn't "Rome" great? What did you think about last night? That Octavian is a little s###. Bad enough marrying MA and Octavia breaking up two couples but then he goes and banishes Antony to Egypt and puts Atia and Octavia pretty much under house arrest. Loved the scene where Antony came to say goodbye to Atia, shouting out her name. It was so touching and she implores him to send for her. Those two really do love each other despite MA's roaming eye. They do have a connection.
Octavia and Agrippa, well he sides with Octavian and says he can no longer see her. Rather have his honor than the woman he loves. Wonder whose the baby's daddy. Guess we will never know.
The scenes between Vorenus and Vorena, great. Why on earth did he not tell her that he did not kill Niobe? She needs setting straight about the whole thing. I hope Pullo will tell her the whole story and that her father is not the villan she makes him out to be. Sad to see Vorenus and Pullo part ways. They are like brothers afterall.
What about Pullo biting out Memio's tongue? Yuck, totally unexpected and gross but you know what, I loved it.
Only two episodes left.....I will be having Rome Withdrawal Symptoms. What about you girl? What are we to do?

Awesome topic! I'd have to say my favorite shows are "Smurfs", "Munsters", and "Family Guy". Also my husband and I have one night of the week that we stay up and watch the Sci-Fi channel's "Ghost Hunters". Great show! |

Hey there! You must have posted this when I wasn't around for a while, 'cuz I just saw it. Oops....
But, YES! I'm having Rome withdrawal. Definitely miss that show. I've been watching Deadwood Season 3 on DVD, though. Awwww, yeah!
My husband and I watched six (yes, six) episodes today. I think there are only two more episodes left. Makes me sad since there's apparently not going to be a Season 4. Then I'll have Deadwood withdrawal too. |

Red, thankfully after "Rome" came "The Tudors" to lessen my withdrawal symptoms but now even "The Tudors" first season is over. It was really good but I do still mourn the loss of "Rome".
Never did watch "Deadwood". Only so much time and can't keep up with all the shows.
The "Sopranos" season finale did disappoint me though. I did not want Tony to get "whacked" and glad that they got "Phil" but come on, the ending just plain sucked. Just my opinion. |

I never got into the Sopranos or Deadwood. I guess because of not having the extended cable. I need to watch them and see what all the fuss was about. If alot of people liked it, I guess it's good! |

I Netflixed "Rome" after seeing all the rave reviews it got this topic thread and loved it. "Deadwood" without a doubt is excellent. Season 1 was the best, 2 was okay, but I heard Season 3 was a disappointment. I haven't watched it yet, but look forward to it. |

Hey new Seasons on the telly now. Anyone watching the new Season of Dexter on Showtime? I just love this show.
What about Dancing with the Stars? See Marie faint the other night? Who should go next?
No time to watch the telly....too bad.

I knew Mark Cuban would get the axe; I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. I was somewhat surprised to see Jane Seymore in the bottom two, though. Yep, watched Marie drop straight to the floor; scary! I noticed when she was interviewed later, her partner had his arms around her, hanging onto her for dear life! My (then to be) wife did a similar dive about 40 years ago; yessireebob, it scared the you-know-out of me! |

Maybe she was "swooning" from being held so closely and tightly by Jonathan(really cute and gentlemanly).
It was time for Mark to go last night but no way should Jane have been in the bottom two. That's just not right. I think the next to go should probably be Marie though as not as good as the others. Great entertainment factor but just does not have the steps as well as the others do.
I love Sabrina and Mark together. They are excellent every week and I loved Len's comment the other night about "go get a room" lol so funny. They are the best and should win although Helio and Julianne are great and also Max and Mel. I like Jenny and Derek together too. She has improved so much. I just love this show as if you can't tell.
I hope you caught the Mrs-to-be when she "swooned" over you Obi?. |

I recently started watching a series called The Tudors, about Henery VIII and his many wives. So far I'm really enjoying it, it's a little over the top sometimes but I like me some drama lol |

I like the Tudors too, even though I've only seen the first two episodes. (I don't have cable and those were the only ones available online. ) I've been waiting for season 1 to come out on DVD so I can get it on Netflix and watch the whole thing in one sitting . . . okay, maybe two. I loved Steven Waddington as the Duke of Buckingham and, to tell the truth, I think he would've made a better King Henry than JRM, who's a little scrawny and doesn't even come close to looking the part.
There's another forum called "The Tudors" under "Movies," I think, if you want to discuss more. |

Kirachi, I watched the whole first season of the Tudors and look forward to the next one. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I agree that Steve was great as the Duke of Buckingham Red. Too bad he met the end he did. For once I wanted to see more of him. |

Marie wasn't being held that tight when she "swooned", hence her drop straight to the floor. Fortunately for her, her partner was right behind her, preventing her from falling backward, as almost every fainter does. Oh yeah, it wasn't Len who made that remark, Tom Bergeron was the one who said "get a room!"
As for favorites, my heart say Jane but my mind says Sabrina.
And no, I didn't catch Pauline when she collapsed; she dropped away from me (and smacked her head on the sidewalk)! |

Yep, you're right Obi it was Tom who made that remark not Len. It was so funny. Tom is good at coming up with those funny remarks.
I was never a big fan of Samantha Harris though. I wish they had kept Drew on and not brought her back. |

Okay Obes I know you must be watching the new Season of Dancing with the Stars. Off to a good start I think. Kristi is definitely the best dancer amongst the women and Mario probably amongst the men. Priscilla is doing great for a 62 year old and I just love Louis. Has not been on in about two Seasons now so nice to see him back. Just miss Max but what can you do. Should be back for next season. Marissa and Adam need to watch out as they could be next on the chopping block although Adam sure is funny. |
