Poll Question:
We have talked soooo much about our beloved Uncas and Sexy Nathaniel, so let's change gears for a second or two.
What about the seasoned men?
Who's better looking?

Choices:

Col. Monroe
Msr. Montcalm
Ching
Sean Connery? Tee-Hee

Hey, Montcalm is French! What more can I say? Now if they could only learn to ride a bicycle or win a war...

Msr. would mean Montcalm was a Monsignor. Monsieur would be M. Montcalm. His actual name was Louis-Joseph de Montcalm-Grozon and he became Marquis de Montcalm on the death of his father in 1735, and a knight of the order of St. Louis in 1741.

The real Montcalm.

Not sure what this has to do with the question, but it is within 6 degrees, maybe more.

Oh definitely Montcalm; as portrayed in the movie, not the real one. I think it's the accent.

Hmmm... there's no more choices? Well, then Ching for sure. I know he's Uncas' father and all but out of the choices here, he's the only real one.

Well, Fitzhugh Williams what can I say, it's been one of those weeks! Thanks for pointing out my typo!

And thank you for those pictures of Montcalm, he just lost my vote!
Can you say HELLOOOOOO, Ching?
You know if I were around in that time I would have begged him to let me help make his people live again!

You really should reconsider that vote! After all, Montcalm is French.

Hey! Some people have voted for Sean Connery! YES! I think he is gorgeous for a "geezer" (Loved him in First Knight!)
I only put him in there because he was off topic.
Thanks to those who put him on our map!!!

I voted for Ching... but I liked Montcalm in the movie, too, and I adore Sean Connery!!! But lately, I've been watching some DVDs of TV reruns of "The Gilmore Girls" and "Deadwood", so I have to put in a vote each for Scott Patterson ("Luke") and Timothy Olyphant ("Bullock"). Neither is a "geezer", and they're both a lot younger than me, but I am NOT too old to admire, thank you! I thought they needed some pointing out!

They're all rather old for me, lol! Anywho, I voted for Montcalm, he was the best looking of the three in the movie; don't even go there with Sean Connery! I'd listen to Montcalm talk French any day, plus he'd be more romantic than Ching. If I can't have Uncas then why settle for second best with his old man?

OH yeah...he was PHAT too!
Let's give one for them both!

I do love those accents as well, Lotte. I do think the French accent to be a little more charismatic and will make a girl's head spin!
Even so, Sean Connery can whisper in my ear any day!
All the better if it were CHING!
(I've been on a Ching kick recently...out of experience I've learned that seasoned gentlement know how to woo a girl with mere words.)
Still...never has my imagination wondered far from UNCAS!.

Also...Blue Otter those guys weren't bad looking but I could almost picture Timothy Olyphant with pitchfork, horns, and a red costume!
