It’s obvious that whatever this item is, Alice valued it very much, and if it is some sort of religious book, you would think that we would see her reading from it at some point in the movie, like maybe at the fort. Lord knows she had plenty of reason to pray at that point. The thing is, if you’re going to show this item to have so much significance to Alice, then why not have her use it at some point in the movie, other than just holding onto it. Let’s take Magua for instance, it’s obvious that he valued his knife & tomahawk very much. Now, can you picture him not using those items in the movie? I don’t think so! There paazau...I knew I could work him into a thread. |

Perhaps it's a book of magic. She's been reading up on 'love' spells so she can cast one on a gorgeous unsuspecting Indian. And it worked!!!
