WHAT has been going on here?!!! Ya know ... you go off to fight a war, travel the seven seas, chastise the world, etc., (y'all get the idea) and whaddya find upon your return? Don't even recognize the place. 'Tis a pity ... you create a nation (virtual, though it may be) just to find it rather ... unfamiliar - rebellious - treacherous - prodigal children, so to speak.
Ilse! Adele! Jo! Doc M! Where are you, honeys? Bill!!!!! For shame ... no sign nor track of you. Chris ... I know you've been living in the bush - but, GEEZ LOUISE!!!! Ya gotta call home sometime! Diana ... you're supposed to be keepin a sharp out for my wayward child (Chris, not Rich)! You're all sleeping at your post!

PEOPLE! Come on! What the heck kind of Mohicanland is this?!!!! I leave the old place thinking ... surely they'll all savor lots of chaw-co-lats with the Yangeese Strumpet & keep a good watch in my absence ... BUT NO!!!!!!! Puleeze .... What a sorry watch this has been.

I'll have you know, Madam, that I drive by campus almost everyday and have not seen said wayward child selling himself on street corners, hanging out in any tattoo parlors (Yep - I have a tattoo!!!!), or engaging in any otherwise public displays of "waywardness"!!! I am still a moment away if needed!!!
Welcome back, Lainey - I was just thinking about you the last couple of days and meaning to call (Yea, Yea - NO REALLY! I WAS!!!) Please fill us in on what's happening with you and the NON-wayward children!!

Hoot-nah, Lassie Lainey!!! 'Tis bonny grand to see you back from your trek!!! I hope all is well with you, and I do look forward to seeing your posts once again, Lass. All is quiet here at Fort Pitt (As you see in my tales), and I am using the 'off-season' to mend my kits from three impressions, and starting one for a fourth (WW1... Black Watch, of course).

LAINEY!! You're back! I'm thrilled to see your post.
Yes, I've been in the wilderness, but hacking out our homestead is taking more time than we'd imagined. At the moment we're in Anchorage because it's approaching -30 degrees at the homestead, and living in a camper just doesn't cut it at those temps. We're making progress though, and I do love living out there.
Please keep in touch. You know you are loved and missed.

Gee, so many of us still around? That's great. Hugs and such to all of you. Don't wanna hijack Lainey's thread though. Was glad to see her post, truly. Hope you are well Lainey. And as to the rest of you, even that persnickity, aggravatin' captivatin' dangerous siren the evil Doc - love ya all and missed ya too. Thanks Sarge, it's a huge job you take on as it's a very broad back you be watchin over these days. Age. Hmph. Ain't nothin much to be said about it.
Other than it's better than the alternative.

This is truly a great year so far; with both TGAT Lainey and Bill R returned from their trek in the wilderness, 2006 may turn out to be better than last year!!! Now, if we can only get my favorite 'English Fox', Adele, to surface...
This calls for a wee celebration, so if you will excuse me, I must go and un-cork a new bottle of Pussers Rum... (Since 'old' bottles of Pussers never seem to reach maturity around my barracks)
