I got to spend 15 plus hours at my old home with my family ... at least 12 of which had my youngest, Sophia, right by my side.

I cried on the way "home" last night, but those 15 hours were the best Christmas present I could have received ... short of being invited to stay forevermore.

I received the fun of preparing my home to welcome our kids and grandkids, the blessing of having everything I need and desire (except for one thing), the good fortune of having my husband present and feeling well enough to partake of a little of the food, and the absolute joy of knowing that over 2000 years ago God sent his Son, Jesus, to become my Saviour!

I am fulfilled.

UL,
Sounds like Santa thought that you were a very good girl this year. I know that you will enjoy all of the movies and other goodies.

Rich,
It is wonderful that you got to spend time with your family. I hope that the new year brings more quality time spent with your beautiful children!!!

WW,
You and your husband are always in my prayers. I am hoping that the new year brings y'all health and happiness!!!

As for me, well, I am just so thankful to have had my family and friends with me this Christmas. It was a very special Christmas for me!!!
As for my most needed material present, I guess that I would have to say the new stove that my son bought for me. My old one was on it's last legs, so on Christmas morning, I awoke to a brand new stove in the kitchen. I am going to have so much fun cooking now!!!!

Love,
Kay

My best present was having my 14 & 6 year-old daughters with me (My 17 year-old is too cool to hang-out with dad these days). Of course, the Glock 21, Fuji Digital Camera and bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label was nice also...
