One million people were slaughtered in 3 months ten years ago in Rwanda.The International Community did nothing.Rwanda,with no oil,had no stategic value to the world.Think about it,ONE MILLION PEOPLE KILLED in 100 day's.

Jim,
I watched "Ghosts of Rwanda." It was a very hard show to watch. I cried throught most of it, and felt very drained afterwards. I don't understand why the U.S. and other countries didn't try to help the senseless slaughter of all those poor people. It was really heartbreaking. | Kaylynn,We all know the answer as to why we didn't get involved.We let brutal regimes (and man,this was brutal)do their own thing unless we can benefit from it.No oil and no stategic value at all so let the folks die.Read about the Sudan and the brutal regime there.The Muslim north killed about 2 million Sudanese Christians over the course of 20 years.And yes,they have oil and terrorist's there and we do nothing.I know why! They have Red Chinese security personnel guarding the oil.The Red Chinese would be a little tougher to mess with. |

It is so sad, that people die in such horrible brutality :( it really makes you think about how lucky you are.
