Greetings everyone,
I hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy new year. As some of you remembered, I lost my last IT job 2-3 weeks before the 2002 Gathering, instead of being depressed, I came to the Gathering and had a wonderful time. Afterwards, I went on being unemployed for the next 6 months. I finally got another IT job, however this job is going to require for me to relocate to Germany. I will be worked as a govt contractor at the Army base in Grafenwoehr, in northern Bavaria. I still do not have a move date yet, i will probably be moving sometime in March. It is my plan to come to the 2003 Gathering - 3 years in a row. I hope to be in touch with you all and I bring my drum again.

I didn't even know you had lost your job...sorry you had to go through the six months of unemployment...a LOT of my friends have been dealing with that recently. Sorry you have to hesd overseas...but Germany sounds like an adventcha! Part of my ancestry is Bavarian and I can tell you you're going to some pretty country!
And a trip from overseas to a Gathering is dedication! I'll be thinking of you and wishing you luck and safe travel to your new home!
