Thanks! I guess it's small size and the fact that it saw limited service makes it not all that well known. And the fact it wasn't defeated by the French. Most British regiments became well know when that happened.

Which 62nd Regiment are you refering to? Since more than one regiment had that numerical designation during the Seven Years War; even Sjt. Mac Williams' own 77th Regiment of Foote was originally raised as the 62nd Regiment in 1757 (and retained its original 62nd colors, after being renumbered in mid-1758).
