I'm still suprised at how many seats our side won (and they are still not done counting yet as of 0700 EST). I was jumping between Fox News (for accurate/logical analysis and thoughtful insight) and 'PMS'-NBC (for the sheer entertainment value of watching the crying and rending of garments by the bedwetters) during the returns. I do have a few intersting things to note:

1) The 'mainstream' (read: Marxist) media has been refering to this election as won by "angry voters", but when the congress changed hands in 2006 and the White House followed in 2008 it was "hope and change".

2) I turned on MSNBC this morning, and I didn't hear them playing the song, I Can See Clearly Now, as bumper music, like they did, ad nauseum, during the 2008 post-election. I would figure that such a rebuff of the failed policies of ole 'Hope-n-Change', would deserve such a song signifying the 'wake-up' of the American electorate.

3) Marxist enclaves like California, New England, New York and Delaware (AKA- 'Southern New England') failed to suprise me at all. Even Nevada, with its union-thug/organized crime influence was not all that much of a shocker. What did suprise me was the win by Murkowski in Alaska; hopefully this prissy RINO will be treated like a pariah, which she so justly deserves to be.

4) I was luke-warm about Rep. Boehner's speech, since he mentioned that B.S. of working with the Democrats. That is almost as bad as RINO Lindsey Graham grousing about "where are the voices of moderation". I got news for both of these clowns, it was 'moderates' (Read: Marxist-Light) in the GOP which caused them losses in '04, '06 & '08, and it was the same moderates which helped (as willing co-conspiritors of the Dems) to cause the financial troubles we have today (by blocking investigation of 'Freddie & Fannie') There is no room for such 'moderates' in the wheelhouse of this ship; they are welcome aboard, but nowhere near the levers and switches.

5) I had to laugh at my soon-to-be former (thank God) governor Ed Rendell crying about the need of us to 'work together' to solve these 'problems'. I got a message for old 'Fast Eddie', firstly these 'problems' were the creation of his party 'working with' the RINOs in the GOP (see above), and therefore the solution should not involve them. Secondly, and more importantly, I ask this, "How do you 'work with' a party which is hell-bent on the total destruction of our way of life?"

The answer is of course, you can't.

I didn't bother with the so-called "mainstream" news outlets this year. I do remember back when Bush II was re-elected I put on a local NPR radio station JUST to hear how they were "handling it". - Almost comical, - they ALL sounded like they were on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The only thing missing was the funeral music in the background.

I remember that night in '04 MG, and they were 'crying a river' on MSNBC then as well

But you should have seen the somber looks from the bedwetters & thumb-suckers on 'PMS'-NBC last night, when Feingold's loss and the GOP change-over of the Illinois senate seat (the one 'Barry' previously held, but seldom showed up to work for) came in...

...Absolutely priceless

Looks like I was a wee bit premature in calling Alaska. We should know for sure in the next couple of days, and there is a chance that Joe Miller (a fellow Persian Gulf Vet) may still win.
