Ok ...
Been pre-occupied with stuff, of various natures, so most of my time allotted to the Web Site has been given to, as we've previously noted, "toying" with this message board. Thus, there is very little to report as far as "What's New" goes ... I figure today & tomorrow will see some minor updates on the Site, though ...
One thing to look for, on the not-so-distant horizon, is Tim Cordell's interior tour of Fort William Henry, as well as his art gallery ... ok, that's TWO things!
Meanwhile - The Navigation Bar - in the upper right hand corner of the Mohican Board - do you use it? Here's what it does:
- On the Trail ... Home - takes you to our web site's home page
- Old Mohican Board Archives- the complete archives, from 1997 - 2002, from the old Mohican Board
- Profile - at any time, you can go back & edit, delete, or add information to your personal profile
- Register - in order to post to this board, you have to be registered. When you do that, you begin your Profile, and an E-mail is sent to you. If that E-mail bounces back - phoney, in other words, I receive it. There is one "phoney" registered user at the moment.
- Active Topics - If you are logged in, this will show you all the topics that have been posted to since the last time you were here. VERY convenient!
- My Subscriptions - shows up only if you are subscribed to the Board, or any forum or topic within the Board
- Members - allows you to see all the folks who have registered with the Mohican Board
- Search - YES! You can actually search this, the active Mohican Board, for subject matter you've "misplaced."
- FAQ - Hmmm ... what does that stand for again? Oh yeah ... Frequently Asked Questions - about the use of Snitz Forums. So, before you go off in a Snit, use it!
- Mohican Chat - Ahh, a new toy! This is only visible to you if you are logged in. Consequently, you must be a registered user. Very simple Chat Room.
The Mohican Chat is new. So is the added on Smiley icon. I just added a few; will add to it over time ...      
And, just realized, it doesn't quite work!  Back to the drawing board on that! There'll soon be [hopefully] more Site navigation added to the bottom of the Board. You might wonder: Why is it so difficult to manage this Board for him? Well, it's atotally new format and script for me - standard HTML plays a very small part; CGI is out the window. ASP, is SO different. It is a puzzle, really. It has all these things called "Includes". The page you see is really a compilation of these "includes," all sucked in and pieced together as one ... on the surface. I get a headache thinking about it!
