Hi all ...
Again, another week pass without any site updates ... too much going on & on my mind, of late ...
BUT, did make 2 minor tweakings on the Mohican Board to make it better, I hope:
Updated Classified Ads: Ads were expiring after 90 days. Now, they'll be up for a full year, unless you yank them sooner. And that's the main thing ... before, you couldn't delete, or even edit, your ad!!! Boo! That's all fixed now.
Profile "Lock": No one can view the member list, or individual member Profiles, unless they are a logged-on, registered user of the Mohican Board. That's a security/privacy issue that I thought was appropriate.
That's about it ... My E-mail will be "down" the better part of today, so, if there's anything of great importance  that needs tending to quickly, please send a private message ... I'll still be able to get online, I think, just no E-mail [different computer].
And, those of you on the 2003 Gathering Mailing list [very long list, btw!!!  ], you can be expecting an update soon ... Personally, I can't wait!
OH ... any Mohican Board "member" who has a web site that you'd like linked to from the board [ala the MacWilliam sites], please send me the:
- Site Name
- Site URL
- A blurb describing the content/purpose
We'll see about setting up the links here ...

the 'Forum Decorem' post Makes Little/only some 'SENSE' in certain areas............its , the comments and Ordres are way too Old World and not @ all....... for the Worlds diverse 'Canvas n Tapestry'..All types of ~UserFreindly~ rules areNOT addressed.Just some things that peoele 'Must' change .HUGH???.........about thier persona's that are UNFAIR! to ask on a Mess brd ....................no harm has been done...................BUT thats Just MY opinion I'll now e a few to ask if I Bother them. with the fun guy/person i am........................................anth

Please don't take this personally, Anth, but I don't agree with you on this one. If you take a close look at the Mohican Board you will find that the majority of the entire Board and its topics ARE "Old World" in content: The Last of the Mohicans thread focuses on the film & that story took place in 1757. The French & Indian War thread, certainly "Old World" in content; The Muster, a reenactor's arena; Cooper's Corner thread and The James Fenimore Cooper Society threads both pertain to an author who wrote of things that occured in the "Old World"; The Tales MacWilliam thread contains original historical fiction; and every thread contained in the Against All Odds section of the Board focuses on American History (primarily from 1492 through 1876).
My second point is, this Board is first and foremost Rich's "baby." He created this Board and out of respect for him, I think it's only fair to abide by his requests in regards to "Forum Decorum." It's sort of like visiting someone's home: my parents taught me that whenever you're a guest in someone else's home, you should respect their wishes & abide by their "house rules." This forum is Rich's "house" and we're all guests who are playing in his backyard, so we should all play by his rules.
Just my 2 cent's worth on the subject!

You will have to confirm this with Rich but personally, I didn't think your "sheep remarks" were so baaaaaaaad... Ha!ha! You'll have to excuse this little symbol, it's the closest thing I could find to a sheep! The description says it's a goat but I think it looks more like a cow?!
By the way, are you a relation of the sisters Munro?
