I really don't know what the heck is going on, but the hits just keep on coming ... and coming ... We surpassed 1900 visitors a couple of days this past week. Looking like it won't be long until we hit 2000 in a day [we have before, actually, but that was directly connected to a LOTM TV showing]! Things always increase when schools are back in session [we have entire classes, all around the country, utilizing this site for research, projects, film study, etc.!], but there is no doubt that the general trend is UPWARDS!  Go, Cooper, go!
You are our eyes & ears!!! If things aren't working properly for you on this Board, please let us know ... especially if you are using Internet Explorer 5, or higher!
What's New On The Site? The More From Lake James has been updated. Marc Hyatt has added his reminisces to the mix, so you may like to revisit! Enjoy ... and thanks, Marc, for sharing your stuff!
What's New On The Board? Several things ...
Jump To Last Post has been modified further to account for topics that span multiple pages. Plus, the posts are now categorized into 4 categories [different colored arrows]: new reply [since your last visit], last reply, new topic, new edit of a post.
Topic Sorting can now be accomplished within any Forum, based on your preference: by date, by poster, etc. See the sorting module at the bottom of any of the forums. [Remember, Sticky Topics will remain "stuck" at the top!]
Message Icons can now be associated to your posts. Just select one at the time you are posting. By default, the little  will appear. I ran into a little problem on the Forum Pages, so they're not working there, but I should have that resolved in a few days. <---- Ignore this whole thing! Had to take out Message Icons. Will attempt to re-implement soon.
And, of course, the Photo Album works now. If you'd like to display any pics, just request an "account." Then, and be sure you are logged on, there'll be a link in the Photo Album with your name on it. Click, and then choose "Upload Photos." You can send them over directly from your PC. There are number & size limitations [for server space reasons], but feel free to utilize the Albums, if you'd like!
And ... that's that.

PS - As of 09/17/02, the Message Icons are completely functioning.
