Whew! Such a quiet week! What's going on?? Here's a chance to peek in on some of the comments we've received here in the recent past:

From the Mailbag:

There have been few movies in which the natural beauty has captivated me enough to make me want to visit the location site. LOTM, however, just blew me away with the stunning vistas. I will be making a trip to North Carolina next month and would like to visit the locations where the movie was filmed. Can anyone help me?

quote:
I was wondering what part of this website concerns the new DVD comments about the movie. Thanks. I love this site and I am wondering if there will be another auction. I am really interested but I need to save money for it. I am allso interested in meeting with other people that are as big of fans as I am. I plan on coming to the Gathering in 2003 so make sure and have it.

quote:
I'm a fan who makes many visits to this site. Have always wanted to attend the weekend, but living here in Japan and working doesn't make it likely. But someday if only by myself, want to visit all the interesting places in NC where the filming took place. Keep up the good work. This has got to be one of the best places on the Web.

quote:
Yes, please let me know about any & all site updates & info! I would absolutely "live" in Mohicanland, through the webpages of this site, if I could! Wait a mintue...I already DO! It goes without saying that this is my favorite website.

J'apprécie énormement ce film et je ne compte plus les fois que je les vues...

There's a couple of wonderful tunes (Celtic? MIDI?) playing on the following pages: 2002 Great Mohican Gathering and the Mohican WWW Board. Can you tell me their names and/or CD, if any?

quote:
Guys, I love this site and love you so much! Great thanx for your hard work and immense devotion! I adore LOTM, now I adore this site as well! Thanks :)!

I`m a twenty year old girl and I`m very interested in the history/destiny and actual problems of the Mohicans. Many times I`ve looked for an e - mail -address or a link to contact a Mohican girl or boy. But I can`t find any. Maybe you`re able

Hi Rich! Just a quick question. WHAT is that picture at the top of the updates? I can't tell what it is but it looks MIGHTY CREEPY...but maybe that's just me still recovering from vacation...is it one of the burial platforms from the movie? If I saw that in the woods, I wouldn't stop running until I reached my house...

You got it, Christina! That's exactly what it is!!!! Pretty creepy, but incredible picture, don't you think??? You don't see that in the movie, but it's there ... just one of many fascinating details that, all together, make LOTM such a monumental film!

Yep, 'tis true they were wonderful on detail...you can't barely see them in the movie but they STILL made them creepy. I still get quivers looking at that thing!

Hey Diana! Love your avatar! And yes, even us vampires can get the creeps! There's LOTS of stuff that scares us...lights, garlic, that kind of thing!
