All right then, let's get this over with quickly ... I've posted a page chock full of photos, culled from the photo albums of Scott & Barbara Willis! See: Hair Dressers' Photo Gallery Whoooooosh! Anyone left here? Hmmm ... just males, I see.

Oh well, while the Gals are over there "ooohing" & "ahhhing," I'll let you in on the rest of the story around the Web Site.

What I ended up putting on the site was arrived at by an unscientific method of trying to avoid too much duplication of image-types we already have up on the site [thus I avoided many of the fort shots, for example] while also considering what you all might like to see [consequently, 3 butt shots]. At the same time, I was trying to adequately represent the story as seen through the eyes of Scottie & Barbara. To that end, I have some more to add ... after all, they were in the Hair Department, so their gallery should say that! So, over the next week, the Gallery will grow in size ... not too dramatically, but it will grow! It wasn't always an easy decision ... I tried to just go on quick, gut instincts. But, I am sure, when I go through them all again, I will find many more I'd like to add. We'll see ... One thing's for sure, if you carefully look over the Gallery, you will see details not seen, or noticed, on film. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing!

At any rate, that was a very time consuming exercise, so, the promised additions to the 2002 Gathering pages failed to materialize ... this week, anyway ... They're a-coming!

New With The Board: Spent a lot of time upgrading the Board, as well.

There is now a "Classifieds" section, accessible via the group of links up towards the upper right-hand corner of this Board. It's empty, as we speak, but I hope that over time it will be utilized! The categories that came pre-installed are mostly gone - I did leave a couple - but mostly they are customized for this group. More can be added. It's for buying, selling, or bartering. Hope that you give it a go!
Installed, as most of you know, a group mail modification.
Preview post function is now fixed - I think - to allow previewing longer posts. [it's worked with this one!]

But, I ain't done! At Teri's request, I'm working on adding a new field to your profiles, that'll show up in posts, to better reflect your Mohicanland "status" - rather than relying on number of posts alone. IF I'm successful [that's a big "if"!

], I'll be revamping the whole star & ranking scale - which will push us all back a step, or so ... Yep! And after all that hard work to get 3 or 4 stars, too! I'm so evil! However, it's a bit tricky, so there's no guarantee this'll even happen. If you notice funky things going on a bit later on, you'll know that I'm at it again!

Also, it appears that the Avatars can appear next to every post [not just topic starters] if I were to make the necessary changes in the code. Let me know if you have a preference, otherwise I'll just leave well enough alone.

If you've got ideas or requests for making this Board a better place, it's probably doable. Let us know!

Rich and Lainey,
As always, many many thanks for all the hard work and hours you've dedicated to this site. If it wasn't for the two of you, none of us "crazed" fans would have the opportunity to meet and develop such great friendships. I haven't had the opportunity to check out the hairdressers gallery yet, but going there next to drool and ogle the pics. Thanks again, and personally I would like avatars to appear next to names each time a person posts, if it's not too much trouble or eats too much memory. It's a neat way to recognize people who're posting. Heck, I love your King Edward the Longshanks from Braveheart!

Rich and Elaine,
I, too, want to extend my thank-you's. This is such a great place to visit each day...visit? Did I say "visit"?...I LIVE here!!

All of us so enjoy the fruits of your labor. It must be a tireless task pouring over all of those photos...yeah, right!

Kidding aside, I do appreciate the both of you and all of your efforts. This place truly is a haven and a lot of fun. And, Elaine, as I told you at the end of the Gathering Sunday night...thank you for sharing your husband with all of us. There's got to be a way to get you to more of the happenings. Let's work on that, shall we?
