... no update, really.
I woke up early yesterday morning full of vim & vigor & anxious to get started on my weekend's work on the board & web site.
POW!
Was greeted by the brouhaha, of sorts, down in The Lion's Den. Deflated me right then & there.
 Sorry, but I couldn't get in the right frame of mind to do much of anything on the site. The juices will return, but I just couldn't muster 'em up yesterday ... even my Joanne Shenandoah Promo Page turned out pretty piss poor.
Then, last night, I attended a retirement party for three of my lucky cohorts at the Post Office, taking advantage of an "early-out" deal ... it was great, but, of course, somewhat melancholy. Especially in light of the fact that one of the retirees is my bestest postal buddy, Marti. Damn! It ain't gonna be the same. Such is life.
On the positive side, susquesus donated a mess of avatars - culled from screen captures - for use here on the board. Stuff like that makes a community go. Thanks, Matt!
Anyway, I've gone on longer than intended ...

I wish I could figure out how a bunch of pixels can get people (me especially) so worked up. Keeping the spirited discussions off in their own folder was a good start. Keep coming up with those good ideas, Rich!
I don't know why but the main page locks up my IE so I have to use Mozilla mostly, but the Joanne Shenandoah page (which I couldn't get the music to play from in Moz) worked fine in IE. I think it looks good.
A big round of applause for susquesus!!!  I had thought that the avatar list changed 'cause i got a star.[:o)
