October, 2002 - Appears at the hospital, with a van laden with a wonderful cold-cut & salad spread, to visit our newborn, Sophia, and feed the rest of the clan!
December, 2002 - In the midst of Sophia's 6-month long crisis, a huge tree topples on our house. Traveling the what, 300 miles????, she brings her friend, Brent, who along with another fellow & my son, Adam, fixes the roof!

Been wondering the same ... not like GG to just vanish. She always stays in touch. A possibility, maybe, is her mail server - or perhaps the entire server - is down due the infamous Sobig virus.
Has anyone heard from the gal since her birthday? Or just before? |

Awwwwwww, shucks, guys! Thanks for ALLLLLLLL the birthday wishes. I did runaway and was marooned on an uncharted isle.
Well, not really marooned.......
...and not REALLY uncharted...
...actually I stole away to a little bungalow on Kure Beach, NC and spent the last six days with some old friends, no phones, no 'puters, soaking up rays  , steppin' on flounder, floating in the surf, all the while enjoying multitudes of libations  and cooking up sumpuous edibles to celebrate the last day of my 44th year. Now I have returned a year older, all relaxed and rejuvenated to finally be found blushing  at all the nice birthday wishes.

Steph, I did get some good gadgets..my fav was a salad spinner - been wanting one of those....and a Smoothie Maker...all packed and ready for next June....OK, OK, I *DID* try it out already!!!!!! Makes very excellent Lava Flows and Margaritas - IF YA CAN'T GET TO THE TIKI BAR ---BRING THE TIKI BAR TO YOU!!!!!!!...I always say!
