27.84 KB Me, hard at work on a Sunday Update! No, I don't always wear stuff like that in my hair ... only at Halloween parties & when one of my daughters decides I ought to!!!
So, what the heck goes through my mind when deciding upon what to write for an update? Actually, sometimes it just flows when I sit down to do one; sometimes I actually lay awake on Saturday nights probing my brain for a clue; and sometimes I've really got to force it ...
Can you tell which is which?
Regarding the E-mail you all received yesterday - if you are a registered Board member. Failure, so far. I was trying to get the "Gatherings Attended" info, which still resides in the database, to show up again. However, the coding is so very different since we did the upgrade, that I can't figure out how to call it up. I'll probably need some outside assistance. Oh well.
The Poll regarding this Board's format can include any ideas, not just new, or less, Forums ... If there's anything you feel needs changed or added, let me know!
Believe it or not, waiting on DNA evidence before the next From The Ramparts appears on the Site!!
In the mail the other day, we received a newly published book, compliments of the author. It was quite a surprise, as I have no recollection of any dealings with him. Anyway, it's called Uncas, First of the Mohegans, by Michael Leroy Oberg, and published by Cornell University Press. It's a very handsome volume dealing with the real, historical Uncas, and is available, right now, through The Mohican Press Book Shoppe!
As you may have noticed, the dates for the next bi-annual, semi-irregular Great Mohican Gathering have been set! We've got lots of good things going & in the works for this GRAND experience to be held 13 months hence. We hope you can join us!! 2004 Great Mohican Gathering Those of you on the planning "committee" will notice, when logged in, a forum devoted to the planning aspects. Use it!!
Sophia continues to do extremely well. More & more she is looking like a little porcelain doll. She loves to snuggle & smiles all the time. JOY! Her doctor is amazed at her progress ... she's way accelerated on the growth charts - though still has some catching up to do - off all meds, supplements, treatments, and will probably have her GI tube removed in June, as it is never used any more! Her scars are healing nicely - she's just about a normal little baby right now ... and cute as a button!
OK, it's been a while ...
