GOOD NEWS!!! The Wayne Watson who built Killdeer is ALIVE AND WELL! While ordering a barrel from Don Getz last week, I mentioned reading somewhere that Wayne had been murdered. This really surprised Don who said he dealt with Wayne. He said he would check it out. Lo and behold, yesterday, Monday, February 7, 2000, my phone rang about 10:30 AM and it was Wayne Watson himself. He was trying to find out where or how the rumor got started that he was dead. He said "being dead" was definitely hurting his business. I told him I read it on the Internet and would try to find it again. In so doing, I discovered the source of the confusion..."Chance" Watson. I passed all this along to Wayne. Please help spread the word that he is alive and kicking. Thanks.
