thanks for the info, I knew that a museum was being built, but to tell you the truth I hadnt followed its progress very closely since

:Another great place for history is Conner Prairie which is a reconstructed village based on John Conner (an early settler/trader near Indianapolis). He was married to a Delaware and had seven children. She left in 1820 during removal to OK and he stayed, remarried (a white woman, three MONTHS later) and had another huge family. Until recently very little was emphasized re his Delaware wife or life as a trader. Go to www.connerprairie.org for an extensive site. I'm not sure it mentions that next year there will be a Delaware village and trading post, too. We don't have mountains but there might be something here to prompt a visit! (Besides car racing!)
