Well, as reported earlier, The Sassy One has been somewhat occupied today, but I should think that she'll be back to business as usual real soon. I'll pass your message along to her and see if she can conjure you up a wee bit of better weather.

Having been surrounded of late by many longrifles and other implements of death and destruction, owned by people who know how to use them, I've not had to rely on roadkill for my recipes. However, I'm quite certain that if one happened upon such a thing right soon after the fatal event, one would have no trouble collecting some edible bits. The trick would be to salvage enough of the "shell" in which to cook the chili, as this seems to add an exciting element, both to the presentation of the dish and the flavor of same. I say, give it a try...what have you got to lose, besides your dinner?

As a matter of fact, I was figurin' on leaving him a goatskin full the next time he shows up around the ol' corn crib.
