Passed along to us by H. David Wright ... I guess this forum is as good as any to post the info in!

The second installment of The Hunter Heroes/Carson and Cody will premier on the History Channel on Monday, April 21st, at 8:00 PM eastern. Check your local listings, but this should be the correct date and time. The History Channel has decided to air the production six months early. This is the same production team, Gary Foreman and Carolyn Raine of Native Suns Productions, who produced The Hunter Heroes/Boone and Crockett in which your favorite woodsies had parts (wonder who they might be). Email all your friends who you think might be interested. If you enjoyed Boone and Crockett you will throughly enjoy these two also.

What!! How did I miss Boone and Crockett?? When was it on? And, more importantly, did anyone tape it? Rats!!
Anyway, thanks for the tip, Rich.

Chris ,

"Boone and Crockett: The Hunter Heroes" will air April 23 and 24 on the History Channel at 6 am eastern, 5 am central , 4 am mountain, and 6 am Pacific time. Not sure of your time zone so you might want to check your local listings. Also, the program "Mountain Men" will air April 21 and 22 at these same times on the History Channel. Enjoy!

I have seen this program, but have to admit I am at a loss as to who the "favorite woodsies" are who were in it. Rich, can I be enlightened? Are they the soldiers/guys who were in "LOTM"?

I know Davy Crockett was portrayed by Mark Baker. Not sure to whom else Rich is referring.

I watched the Carson and Cody episode, and enjoyed it a great deal. I learned a lot about both of these men that I had not known before, but most especially about Kit Carson. All I remembered was watching the old Kit Carson TV series in the late 50s. Anyone else out there remember that? (Boy, do I feel old!)

Alais... I missed the Carson/Cody episode. I tuned in at the appointed time, but for some reason the History Channel wasn't airing the show... at least not in my area. I searched the TV listings for the whole week and it didn't appear anywhere. Oh well... maybe next time.
