It's a great place. I used to make a side trip there every year when I went to any event in the area.

If not #1, certainly near it as my favorite fort to visit. As a kid, my dad took the family up to Lake George quite frequently for summer vacation. Besides Storytown, Gaslight Village, Animal Land [or whatever it was called] and Indian Village, Forts William Henry and Ticonderoga were on the itinerary. Been up there several times with my own kids. Just love Fort Ticonderoga!
