A little more activity would help with the expenses - but it's probably a FAR more "period realistic place" than if it was a real "active tourist trap".

That's a good video. I didn't realize it was that big. Some other places I like, and you already may be familiar with these, are Fort Ligonier in Ligonier, PA and Fort Stanwix in Rome, NY. And of course Fort Frederick in Big Pool, MD.
