I know this subject has been discussed before, but recently a friend asked me 'what is it about Last of The Mohicans' that you like so much?' and I just couldnt give an articulate answer!

What is it that you love so much about this film? I have thought about it so much but I cant put my finger on exactly why. For me it would be a mixture of all aspects of the film:
The cast, the scenery, the music, the time period, the story, the adventure, the romance, the atmosphere. It just has that X factor I guess.

Everything worked on the film, the chemistry between the actors, the casting was perfect and all other details such as costume were just everything I would want in a film.

People are also suprised when I tell them that LOTM is over 10 years old, they cant beleive I love a film and watch it so much after all those years

I think you hit it on the head: beautiful scenery- stirring music- damsels in distress rescued by brave and handsome heros- two love stories, one of which ends tragically. What's not to like?
