Absolutely THRILLED for Daniel Day-Lewis! His Oscar win for "Lincoln" made him the first man to win THREE Best Actor Oscars in the 85-year history of the Academy Awards!
I love how Daniel has included some humor in his acceptance speeches this awards season, in addition to his always endearing eloquence & humility. If you haven't already heard his acceptance speech from the Oscars, you'll find it on YouTube & it's well worth watching - one of the best moments of the entire show.
Way to go, DD-L! You earned it.

| And, he certainly deserves them! What an actor. Still haven't seen "Lincoln," but, so far, my favorite character is the Butcher from "Gangs of New York"!! |

| Have you seen it yet, Sachem? I think it's out/coming out on DVD this month--so no more excuses. Of course it is much better on the big screen, just as LOTM is. |
