Found an interesting book about colonial vegetable gardening practices written by a gardener from Colonial Williamsburg. A very good read with some gardening tips to boot.

Thanks! This looks great. You might enjoy "Journal of the Early America's". Each issue has some sort of colonial recipe.

Thanks, susquesus. I went to their website and checked out some of the recipes they have posted online. I think it's great they include some sort of historical background or other context with their recipes. It makes them that much more enjoyable!
