That should be "interesting" to see how this idea pans out. If they (the Indians) truly are an "independent country" within the U.S. - then they can do what they want, - within their country. There should be no reason for them to respond to inquiries, that would imply they're not independent. This will become "quite an issue down the road" is my bet.

Yes, apparently they are immune to any US governmental regulations. But... 360% interest rates??? I think people would have to be idiots to agree to something like that, even for a short-term loan. It's outrageous.
