Hello Mohicanites!
I haven't posted in a while, but I just got some breaking news from one of my Facebook friends. Russell Means is very ill with cancer. We all know what he means to this group. I was told he is in Navajo county getting doctored right now, and on August 14th, he will be at Leonard Crow Dog's Sundance ceremony. That's all I know.
We all you, Russell!

| From Russell's wife, Pearl: Russell Means has been diagnosed with cancer. The origin is the base of his tongue, it has spread to his throat, lymph nodes, neck and lungs. It is a difficult cancer to diagnose until it starts spreading. An endoscopy missed it in April. |

This world will shine less brightly without Russell. I'm so sorry to hear this and will also pray for him & his family.
