Watched this last night and WOW...definitely like all of Tarantino's other movies...strange and weird and leaves you kind of in a state of shock at what you have just seen. Very violent but I liked it and in some ways did not like it. It was a bit too long I thought but I am still thinking about it and I suppose that is good. Anyone else care to share their thoughts on this movie? Pitt was strange and weird but then again the whole story was strange and weird and a very small appearance by Mr Austin Powers (Mike Meyers)himself. The guy who played "baddie' Col. Hans Landa was excellent..Christopher Waltz was his name...never heard of him before or seen him in anything. WOW
This has been in our Netflix queue for some time, designated "very long wait." My husband is looking forward to it. I like war movies but not Tarantino (neutral on Pitt). I'll let you know after we finally see it.

Thanks Bookworm. Happy to see that Christopher Waltz won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes last Sunday and also at the Critics Choice Awards...well deserved indeed. I sure hope he wins at the Oscars too if he is nominated that is, not sure about that.
Another flick on my never watch list. I loathe Tarantino even more than Cameron, if that's possible. If I want violence & gore, I'll look at something by Robert Rodriguez...
