A Lifetime Achievement Award, in fact!

http://www.santafenewmexican.com/Pasatiempo/Tall-in-the-saddle-Santa-Fe-Film-Festival-honors-actor-Wes-Stud

In the article Wes talks about his upcoming projects, which sound pretty interesting. A western set in Wales?!!! It's good to know that there are upcoming projects. And he's very fond of a 1999 movie called Mystery Men, a spoof of superheroes, which I've never heard of. Has anyone seen it?

Isn't it odd how the weblink leaves off the i in "Studi"? The result isn't inappropriate, though. When I checked the link to make sure it worked, the photo at the beginning of the article took forever to load, but if you scroll down far enough the article is there.

Wes is very deserving of that award! I did see Mystery Men and loved it and I think HE DID steal the show in it! Worth a rent, Mary!

I have seen Mystery Men. It also stars Ben Stiller and one of my least favorite people in the entire world, Janeane Garofalo. But, beautiful Claire Forlani [Meet Joe Black] makes up for it!!! It's kind of a juvenile movie [one character's super powers are his ... farts!!], but I liked it all the same. Wouldn't rank up there on my all-time favorite list, but, I enjoyed a laugh or two. Probably not for everyone.

I watched Mystery Men years ago. It's not too bad--really off the wall, IIRC--spoofs all the superhero flicks. BTW it has one of my least favorite people in it, that Stiller nitwit...he's so irritating. I really liked the bowling ball girl, in spite of the actress who played her.

Wes. He turns 62 today. Reason I know is he shares the same birthday as my youngest son who turns 11 today. Best wishes to Wes

I think Mr. Studi definitely deserves the Lifetime Achievement Award.
