It is my belief that the Bush and Clinton families have had an inordinate amount of influence in the affairs of the United States and the World.
If Barak Obama continues to hold a significant lead in the May 6, 2008 North Carolina primary election, I would say in the manner of Sir Winston Churchill:
This is not the end of the Bush/Clinton hegemony, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is perhaps, the end of the beginning.
The original Churchill quote (link) http://www.winstonchurchill.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=388#not_the_end
"The Germans have received back again that measure of fire and steel which they have so often meted out to others. Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
Lord Mayor's Luncheon, Mansion House following the victory at El Alameinin North Africa, London, 10 November 1942."
