It has been a long time since my last post, but now I just had to write. I just watched LOTM from a big screen at my parents' house and it was so amazing. I must have seen this movie at least hundred times, but every time I love it just as much..There are no words to describe how amazing this movie is. I love love love it! I was nine ( I'm 23 now) when I saw it for the first time and since then it has been my favorite movie. For me, Last of the Mohicans is the best movie and it will always be.

Nothing can equal seeing something like this on "The Big Screen"; but having said that, I feel the current DVD edit is superior in content. ( I'm hoping/assuming that's the version you saw. ) The inclusion of the originally omitted "Heyward's Diversion" scene, intercut with Hawkeye's impossible long shot ( "The Courior" ) on the DVD made a great deal of difference for me. Not to mention that I actually show up in some of the frames of this version; unlike the VHS format! |

Lol, James.
I love this movie too and saw it on the big screen at least 5 times. And each time I swooned over the NA men and cried like a baby when Uncas gets murdered. |
