I am not too certain that I like the idea very much of either a Fran-say or a Ranger planning a new hairdo for me to wear or how my life will come to an end. I think perhaps I shall decide to stay far away from the vicinity of Fort William Henry.

Unless, of course, that "nice Indian" you arrange for me, Chauncey, looks as good as Uncas does in his breechclout...

WW??!!! Is that really you?
OMG! We Uncas-crazed fools have rubbed off on you, you poor dear!

Then again...
Welcome to the other side!

I live in my own little world - but that's okay, they know me here!

No, actually you haven't. If you can find some of my very first posts on this board, back in 2003, you will see a couple of times when I mentioned the beauty of that young man. I look at him as a sort of work of art. He is something to be admired from afar, and through the years of my age. You will not... I repeat... will not witness me drooling, rolling around, and carrying on over him as you younger women do. Sorry. I won't be joining your club.

And so, because of my age, I will change my comment above to Chingachgook, which is far more appropriate.

No need to worry, MG! I haven't lost it yet. Nor have I gone 'round the bend, walking in loose moccasins. I'm still very much me, the very staid, upright and as dignified as I can possibly manage after my faux pas -- WW.
