I just found a website for a new movie which is coming out on November 19th (or maybe December 19th, my memory is going fast), called "Nouvelle France," about Quebec/Wolfe/etc. Right now the audio on the site is French only, "English coming soon." The only names I recognize are: Gerard Depardeau and Tim Roth (woot!) as Wm. Pitt!

Here's the link: http://www.filmnouvellefrance.com/

Unfortunately, in watching the trailer, I get the impression that it's a chick-flick in F&I clothing. Sorry, ladies, it's not that I have anything agains chicks (oh no, not at all!), I'm just not a fan of chick-flicks... I guess we won't know till the movie comes out; I hope I'm wrong!

Obediah, Greetings to you in the White Mountains...I have had the film Nouvelle France for the past year. A fascinating costume drama in the original French with subtitles. Not really much to do with the war. The ending is so distressing (to me) that I will not watch it again.

It also had Jason Isaacs as Wolfe. Isaacs was Tavington in The Patriot. Great scenes of Quebec, I just wish there was more of the F&I in it.
