Wind River. Not a great movie, but had Russell Means in it as well. The two of them made it worth watching.

I voted for the Hillerman (Joe Leaphorn) series. I LOVE those! I did waver a bit over Mystery Men though. I thought Wes MADE that movie! I loved it when Ben Stiller's character called him Captian Conundrum! I have several acquaintances I call that!

I had to vote for "Geronimo." I really liked Wes in that role. My least favorite would be "The Killing Jar." Wes was the ONLY good thing about that movie.

Love,
Kay

Tough call, I give a slight edge to "Geronimo" over the Leaphorn series simply because Wes portrayed the character so well. But I love seeing Wes in a modern role too. Hard to choose just one.

I rented Mystery Men last night, without knowing it to be a Wes Studi movie. I liked it.

I think "Heat" is the best movie, though clearly not the best Wes!

Well I went with Geronimo as I just love that movie and never tire of seeing it. He was excellent in that role, just like it was tailor-made for him. No one else could have brought Geronimo to life like Wes did.

His part in Dances with Wolves, although small, was rather good and I have seen Heat years ago but don't recall Wes's part in it. As for the others, I have never seen any of those movies. Guess I have some Wes viewing to catch up on. I recently saw "Miracle at Sage Creek" and his part in that one was really well done. He was the perfect Indian Grandpa. Also loved him as Famous Shoes in Streets of Laredo.

Being a Tony Hillerman fan, I had to vote for the "Joe Leaphorn" series, although it's not nearly as good as the books.
