Came across this absolutely moronic subtitle on one of my forays through the movie. It's when the group arrive at the fort; Jack calls out "Nathaniel!" and according to the subtitle Hawkeye says .....

Now I know that some of the things the characters say are a bit hard to pick up on the first time around, but really!!!!   
Didn't they read the script???!!! 
(BTW it wouldn't have helped - it's not in there... I checked!)
 I'm curious, what does the Director's Cut have for the subtitle here

That is so funny!! That is what a lot of folks had thought was said (one of them must have been a subtitler). I believe he says "Need to talk to you , Jack". I'll have to check my DVD when i get a chance.

Maybe Jack said to Hawkeye without us hearing it..."That cutie with the black hair is fine! I bet!!! you enjoyed your trip to the fort with her! That's tough!" And Hawkeye answered jokingly "It's torture,Jack! .Or something like that. That's my thoughts anyway.

Hmmm, not that I'm aware of... does dvdorchard buy their stuff from Thailand???

| Your DVD remote should have a button that says "Subtitle". Or you can turn it on through the menu on your TV set. |
