Seems Michael Mann has perhaps headed back to his roots [Miami Vice, etc.]. Premiering on Friday, September 27 is his new series, on CBS, Robbery Homicide Division. It stars war-movie veteran, Tom Sizemore ...
Mann's a master; Sizemore a consummate professional ... could be a good one!

Michael Mann has always been one of my favorite directors with:Miami Vice,Crime Story and Manhunter.This should be good as well.Now,if we can only get him to remake"The UnConquered"....

Since we are on the topic on Michael Mann... Just wanted to say - No matter how successful Red Dragon does at the box office Mann's Manhunter is the definitive prequel to the Silence of the Lambs & Manhunter. The only negative was that Manhunter did not have Anthony Hopkins in it.
