Rich, there's no news here in Pittsburgh; his name doesn't appear in any headlines, so that's something! There aren't any reenacting events where I would expect to see him until the end of October, so I guess I can't help you. Last time I saw him was in August at a Rev War event in Ohio, and he was in good health.

He posted the announcement of GG's birthday on 8/30 -- maybe the last two weeks have just been especially demanding at work. Maybe Allegheny County sent some units to the Gulf region, leaving more work to be done by those left behind??? |

Hello All,
No, the Sarge didn't 'go over the hill' on you guys, I am alive and well, although somewhat beat-up (mentally/emotionally... it's a long story). As for the Katrina Relief, no one that I know of in my P.D. had gone to the Gulf, but alot of us did take part in collecting water and foodstuffs for a relief convoy to the storm survivors. Sorry I haven't touched-base with you guys, but things are clearing up for me and I will be able to spend more time hanging-out with my fellow Mohicanites. I also owe a new chapter to my tale, which should be posted by October. Thanks again for asking, it sure is nice to know that I am missed.
