I just visited CR last weekend because it is about a days drive from where i live (east NC) and it was a great day to be there! Very beautiful and breathtaking, ive been before, but i was very young and dont remeber that well. anyway, i know you dont want to read my life story, so i was wondering if anyone knows exactly which rock was the uncasdies/alciejumps cliff scene was filmed? I saw 2 waterfalls, and have an idea it was one of those. Any idea?

I believe that scene took place at Nature's Showerbath. The big triangular rock Magua and Uncas fouhgt on is right there too!

Yes, it is an area on the Cliff Trail. We always do the trail backwards from what the park staff recommends so that we travel in the same direction on the cliff trail as they do in the movie - if you did the Skyline trail first, then that might have you confused!
P.S. I am located in Eastern NC too. ECU area! |
