Does anyone know if any books were published to accompany the film when it was released? I have gone to book shops and trawled through the internet and I cannot find anything. I have a lovely book which accompanies The Horse Whisperer and something like that for Mohicans would be fab.
Ellie :)

I would like to know this too, Ellie! A friend gave me a beautiful book about the making of The Patriot and my comment upon receiving it was wouldn't it be great if there was a book like this about LOTM!! Karen

Me again, Ellie. Just wanted to make sure you know about Rich's book, On the Trail of The Last of the Mohicans. It's a wonderful guide to the places where the movie was filmed. There are no pictures of the human stars of the film, but there are great pictures of the wonderful scenery, as well as descriptions. It's definately a must have for LOTM fans! Karen

Thanks for the plug, Karen!
There is no other book on the 1992 film version of The last of the Mohicans. Pardon my own plug, but this Web Site is the book!
At over 400 Internet pages (= at least a couple of thousand printed pages), nearly 3000 images, 14 videos, dozens of sound clips, including the entire soundtrack, original & exclusive interviews and other material ... well, it's pretty much all here! There's an on-line companion guide to the guidebook, history, bookstore, etc. etc. No book would ever be so comprehensive! With Michael Mann's unofficial blessings ... These totals do not include the message boards or the Against All Odds web site, either.
All you need now is a nice color laser printer! Glossies galore!

I totally agree that your website is the ultimate tribute to Mohicans, however I am kind of old fashioned and like flicking through books and having them as lovely reminders of my favourite things.
Maybe I should make my own... however, if I had a laser printer and all the other stuff to go with it, it might help!

Oh Rich, you are right of course!! No book could ever compete with this website. I do, however, understand Ellie's desire to hold a book in her hands whenever the mood strikes without having to go to the computer. Thank goodness we have this Mohicanland website to comfort us all!! Karen
