I haven't seen most of these movies, but I do remember "Clash of the Titans" and I liked it very much, so that would be my pick.

Kay

Since you didn't list 'Excalibur', I will have to pick my #2 choice, 'Dragonslayer'. A very good tale of honor, courage and 'stepping-up' to do the right thing.

Highlander... just the first one though

Jack McCall: "Should we shake hands or something, relieve the atmosphere. I mean how stupid do you think I am?"
Wild Bill Hickok: "I don't know, I just met you."

Don't know what I was thinking I would also have to include "Baron Munchausen"! That was a real treat! Robin Williams was simply a hoot! Another favorite of mine would be "Brazil"! Has anyone else seen it? Terry Gilliam movie are wonderful!
I believe he also did "Time Bandits"!

I have to vote for 'Excalibur' as well. I think Nicol Williamson was one of the best actors to play Merlin.

My favorite character was Mordred. Robert Addie was such fun to watch! John Boorman was very impressed with Robert's horsemanship, and said so on the Region 1 DVD's audio commentary.

Sadly, Robert passed away in November 2003. I had the chance to see him that summer, and I'm just getting to the point where I can watch his films again. I miss him.

I had no idea, I'm so sorry to hear that. Were you close friends?

Not really, we met when he was a guest at a couple of Robin of Sherwood conventions . He was really very nice, totally the opposite of most of the characters he played. I was sort of hung up on him, , which is unusual for me.

I see that Highlander is winning hands-down. But of course, because "In the end, there can be only one."
