Spirits on the River featured on The FoodNetwork TONIGHT at 9:30 PM (I think) on the program $40-A-DAY with Rachael Ray. Rachael eats lunch at SOTR and has a Buffalo Burger and Quinoa and veggies as she sits on the deck with the Swanannoa River in the background. They show Flip cooking her Quinoa (and refer to him as..."the cook", nevermind he's the OWNER). They also show Rachael visiting The Biltmore Estate (Another Gathering venue) and talk about the Inn on Biltmore Estate (the new hotel on the Biltmore grounds) BUT SHOW AN AERIAL PICTURE OF THE GROVE PARK INN - Huge Blooper!!!!!!!

Tune in to catch a little of MohicanLand on The FoodNetwork tonight!

Dang it!!!!! I forgot to watch The Food Network last night. Sheesh, I can't remember anything more than five minutes nowadays!!! Will it be coming back on Diana?

Kay, ya got lucky girlfriend! I thought this evenings episode at 6:30 PM was the last one, BUT it does come on again on11/24 at 12 PM (I think that's Noon Wednesday). You can recheck that if you want AND get the recipe for the Quinoa (Keen-wa) with veggies at www.foodnetwork.com. Just scroll down and use the pull down box on the left for "TV Show" and select $40-a-Day and it will post all the episodes and have a link to the recipe!

Hope you can catch it - Blooper and all, I thought it was one of her better shows! You can tell she appreciates the area - and why not? Being a Lake George girl herself and since LOTM chose the Asheville surroundings to resemble that area.
