I guess if we can discuss Bubbahotep(?), its ok for me to ask people what they thought of 'Frida'? I was dying to see this film as Frida Kahlo is one of my favourite painters, but I must say I was slightly disappointed, it just seemed to concentrate too much on Rivera and his political stance, almost as if she had been on the periphery and not really involved. I could also have done with seeing more of Frida's paintings and less of Frida making love. Having said that,it was beautifully realised and Selma really put her heart and soul into it, her determination to get this movie made has to be applauded.Has anyone else seen it?
