Qasi, if you are going to go through and read old posts in the Lion's Den, could you please check the dates before you respond? Also, Ilse is no longer participating on the boards (due, unfortunately, to something I caused), so there is really no sense in responding to an old post such as this one.
And again... I object very strongly to the way you say things. We have had trouble with some folks saying things in this manner in the past. We didn't like it then and we don't like it now.

Further on the above, it looks like I've been hoisted by my own petard and unhorsed by two of Rich's Avenging Angels.
Agreed that the date of the posting I'd referred to was ~18 months old, and hence far too old to be responded to. I simply hadn't noticed that and, in reference to my pursuing "old" posts, most of them are--not many appear to be recent, let alone current. Maybe Rich was right and this Board is dying, due perhaps to a handful of members who all know each other well and have been stultefying here too long while critiquing and criticizing new members.
Understood that you don't care for my posts, but that's tough--I don't enjoy your rather bland efforts either. Go complain to Rich if you didn't like that. He'll say nice things to his inner-circle friends.
Totally DISAGREED re (a) claim that "Ilse" hasn't posted here in 18 months--that's findable, but only with an inordinate amount of time spent searching, as I later did; and (b) her post was meant in jest. I'm unable to find any indication of that, and see only a person from a liberal Euro nation dis'ing our Pres by complimenting his predecessor while he's running for his second term. And, believe it or not, requesting some American start a poll on Bill Clinton. Whether any of us liked W or were FOB's is irrelevant, it was not an appropriate time for a(n apparent) foreigner to comment re US candidates in a US BBS. And if you two can't see that, then I guess this is indeed the Democrat caucus I've been increasingly suspecting it of being, a closed, small group of aging and myopic hippies.
So BACK off, and next time you want to dump on a newcomer, choose another one.
